QUALTEQ, Inc.

Scott Magnacca has been in the secure card industry for more than 13 years and is the executive vice-president, sales and marketing for QualTeq, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Magnacca is responsible for directing QualTeq's sales and marketing efforts and positioning the company for future success.

Mr. Magnacca began his career with NBS Card Services, Inc. in 1989, after two years as International Sales Manager for a Canadian electronics manufacturer. While with NBS in Canada, he held progressively senior sales and marketing positions, and in 1993 was appointed Vice-President, Sales. In 1995, he was promoted to the position of Vice-President Sales, North America and relocated to South Plainfield, New Jersey; USA to lead NBS' newly combined US and Canadian sales organizations.

QualTeq-a certified Visa/MasterCard card manufacturer -has been a leader in secure card manufacturing for almost 20 years, producing over two billion cards since its inception. QualTeq is a single source supplier of card products and services from card design and manufacturing to personalization and card issuance-receiving recent International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) Élan Awards for Card Design Excellence.

QualTeq is renowned for the following innovations: Foil Card® technology, Green Earth Card® (biodegradable card), Clear Card™ (translucent card), Color Guard™ (high-output magnetics), Braille Card® (Braille embossing), and the Life Guard Card™ (long life card).

Mr. Magnacca holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada and is a graduate of the Queen's University Executive Program of Kingston, Canada. He has been a frequent industry spokesperson at the ICMA EXPO and ICMA Educational Workshops.
