QualTeq Inc. Licenses Patented Foil Card® Technology To Versatile Card Technology, Inc.

License Agreement to Further Expand Global Reach of Foil Card®

 

South Plainfield, NJ-June 26, 2002 - QualTeq Inc., a leading Visa/MasterCard card manufacturer located in South Plainfield, NJ, recently announced that for the third time in QualTeq's history, the company will license one of its proprietary processes-its patented Foil Card® technology-to Versatile Card Technology, Inc. (VCT). VCT will produce cards, utilizing the Foil Card technology, and will market the cards under the name "Versafoil." VCT owns secure card manufacturing plants in the United States and India.

QualTeq's patented Foil Card technology is the process of graphically printing over a mirror foil surface of a card. Unlike previous foil card processes, the QualTeq Foil Card is nearly impossible to counterfeit, and can accept litho and silkscreen inks, foil stamping, lamination, and other applications such as holograms. Available in a variety of foil colors including gold, silver, and rainbow foils, the material can be adapted to existing designs or new design concepts.
