QUALTEQ INC. LICENSES PROPRIETARY FOIL CARD® TECHNOLOGY TO TRAVEL TAGS

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ, October 21, 2002 - QualTeq Inc., a leading Visa/MasterCard card manufacturer based in South Plainfield, NJ, announced today that the company will license its patented Foil Card® technology-the process of graphically printing over a mirror foil surface of a card-for the fifth time in its 20-year history to Travel Tags/Xtreme Graphics. Travel Tags/Xtreme Graphics will manufacture and sell the Foil Card through a non-exclusive agreement.

Unlike previous foil card processes, the QualTeq Foil Card is nearly impossible to counterfeit, and can accept litho and silkscreen inks, foil stamping, lamination, and other applications such as holograms. Available in a variety of foil colors including gold, silver, and rainbow foils, the material can be adapted to existing designs or new design concepts.
