• Recycled PVC– Saves energy and resources by utilizing reused materials.
• bioPVC– This material is made from 99% PVC and fully degrades within 1 to 5 years in soil, water compost or wherever microorganisms are present.
• PLA Cards – also known as “corn cards”, PLA plastic cards are manufactured from the poly lactic acid derived from corn.  Compared to oil-based PVC cards, PLA cards require less energy and produce less green house gas in the manufacturing process.

VCT’s Own Green Efforts

VCT cares about our environment and we’re actively finding ways to reduce our own impact on the Earth.  For example, we utilize 100% wind power to generate the energy needed at our VCT-India location.  We also actively reduce as much waste wherever possible. For example, all plastic scraps and cards that don’t pass our inspections are collected and sent to recycling firms to create new materials for a variety of uses.
