If you are a VISA or MasterCard issuer, the design of both the front and back of your card is governed by their requirements. VISA and MasterCard logos and holograms cover a small section of the front, allowing you to fill the rest of the space with your own design elements. On the back, the location of the magnetic stripe and secure signature panel, as well as additional copy, are governed by VISA and MasterCard standards.
